Reynolds was in attendance for a 4-1 win over the Whitecaps, with MLS opposition being swept aside by Phil Parkinson’s side. Wrexham’s manager has said of claiming victory in front of supportive chairmen: “It is great when Rob and Ryan are here and I’m so pleased they were. Rob's been with us on tour. Obviously, Ryan's been incredibly busy with his movie and the PR for that. But, if they say they're going to be somewhere, they're there and I think that was fantastic that Ryan was here and being his home city and he's done a lot of travelling in the last few weeks. You could see that, but, listen, I think that's enormous credit to him to make sure he was here.”

Wrexham have now completed their North American tour, with the plan being to relax and unwind before returning to North Wales. Reynolds may have formed part of those shenanigans, with Parkinson adding: “Before, Ryan came in and I had a chance to catch up with him and that was great and hopefully he'll come out for a beer with us if he can get in the nightclub! I'm not sure they'll let him in!”

WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?

McElhenney has grown accustomed to drinking sessions with the Wrexham squad, having joined them at promotion parties in Las Vegas, while Reynolds was around to toast National League title glory in 2023. Plans are now being drawn up for 2024-25, with more funds being made available in the transfer market.
