According to a recent report from Football Insider, Liverpool are likely to offload Harry Wilson in the coming summer due to the emergence of Curtis Jones.

The 22-year-old winger has spent the last two years on loan and has even been given his first taste of regular game time in the English top-flight at Bournemouth, having already played 1655 minutes in the ongoing campaign.

Did he really play for us?! No Villa fan has managed to name all of these obscure Villans….

Jurgen Klopp and co. still value him highly but don’t expect him to break into their first-team and Football Insider also mention that this may lead to a potential transfer further down the line.

He is currently valued at £30m, the same source notes.

And after seeing this report, one Aston Villa fan page asked the fans whether they would like to see Wilson at their club.

The responses were quite mixed, to say the least.

Some fans would sign him up as they view him as a great player who’s simply playing for the wrong club.

But that was far from a unanimous verdict, with the main issue with any potential deal seemingly concerning the player’s valuation.

Most of the fans who wouldn’t want him at the club are objecting the £30m price tag.

They seem to think he’s simply not worth that much…

Interestingly enough, money wasn’t the only reason for that particular standpoint.

Some fans feel Wilson is quite limited as a footballer and one even compared him to dead-ball specialist Conor Hourihane.

While the 29-year-old has his strengths, he is too one-dimensional for the club for these fans.

In other news, one of Aston Villa’s loanees might be in line for a brand new contract at the club…
